The visit begins with a warm welcome and tour from the owner, Missy. You'll first notice the inn is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The common areas of the inn are welcoming and comfortable. Our guest room was large and extremely well appointed. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with a separate deep soaking tub. There is sufficient storage with a walk-in closet and multi-drawer bureau. Missy is a gourmet chef and cocktail mixologist. You don’t want to miss happy hour with the specialty cocktails like pecan manhattans and luscious sweets like bananas foster. The 3-course breakfasts are incredible with delicacies like egg souffles and bourbon ball waffles. Impeccable service is provided by John, co-owner. Chateau Bourbon is located in a beautiful neighborhood with walkable shops and restaurants. It is strategically placed for visiting the distilleries on the bourbon trail, taking a stroll down Whiskey Row or visiting the sites of Louisville.
