- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 6 oz finely-shaved country ham
- 6 oz white cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 Tablespoon fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9 inch pie pan and place pie crust inside, lightly pressing along the bottom and side of the dish. Thoroughly whisk the eggs, then add the cream, milk, salt and pepper and continue to whisk until light and foamy. Place the ham, cheese, and herbs in pie dish, mixing with your hands to ensure they are well combined. Pour the egg mixture into the dish and place in the oven, baking for about 45 minutes until crust is browned and center is just set. Slice and serve!
